Energy efficiency

Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort maintains a minimal environmental footprint thanks to its state-of-the-art Geothermic Exchange System, which powers space cooling and heating, pool heating, and hot water production with maximum energy efficiency. This system reduces greenhouse gas emissions by the equivalent of 632 tons of CO₂ each year.

The resort also features 8,300 sqm of energy-efficient green roofs planted with drought-tolerant succulents. These roofs support the surrounding ecosystem while creating an appealing visual landscape for guests. The resilient flora requires minimal maintenance, helps reduce the heat island effect, and contributes positively to local air and water quality.

Recycling

Recycling is a key priority within the Miraggio Eco-Footprint Program, forming an essential part of our long-term waste management strategy. The resort has set ambitious goals to reduce waste and maximize recycling across all applicable materials. Recycled items include plastic, aluminum, glass, batteries, lamps, fats and oils, appliances, paper, and metal, ensuring a comprehensive approach to responsible resource management.
