Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort launches its partnership with Tipsarevic Luxury Tennis Academy, welcoming Serbian tennis player and founder Janko Tipsarevic, the man who reached the top-10 in the world rankings in tennis a few years ago. From the 2nd to the 12th of July, Janko will be in our hotel, offering his knowledge to those who wish to take tennis lessons.
At the 4 tennis courts that Miraggio has, the Tipsarevic Luxury Tennis academy will offer lessons to hotel guests but also to locals (beginners and athletes) interested in the sport, which has become more widely known in Greece after the recent successes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari. Janko Tipsarevic has spoken on Greek television with the best words about Stefanos Tsitsipas, saying that "it seems in his eyes, nothing will stop him until he reaches number 1".
Let's get to know Janko Tripasevic and his team better:
Janko Tipsarevic
He has had a great career in tennis, having won two Tour ATP championships, two Futures and nine tournaments in the ARP Challenger Series. His biggest achievement was to enter the top 10 ATP rankings in 2011, reaching number eight in the world rankings.
Igor Pavlovic
He is a graduate of the Gymnastics Academy of the University of Belgrade, specializing in tennis. In recent years he has been coaching, having worked in various tennis clubs around the world, such as in Lebanon and Oman.
Marina Maximovic
She has a coaching degree from the Serbian Tennis Federation. Since 2014 she has been practicing the profession, teaching tennis to children aged 5 to 15 years old.
