Brilliant Host
(code : BH 21)
The Role
The brilliant host is the contact person between the guests and the front office team. He/she makes sure that our guests are welcomed and treated as per our 5* standards, in the front office area.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate to appropriate staff that there are guests that are waiting for an available room.
- Advise guest of any messages received for them and send to room if required.
- Accommodate requests for room changes when possible.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
- Identify and explain room features to guests.
- Ensure that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved.
- Help guests/visitors to arrange transportation by contacting the Guest Relations Desk.
- Respond to all guest needs/requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI)
- Experience on similar position is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
- Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage work load using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multi task position.
- High knowledge of Protel/CRS/PMS revenue management and MS office are considered a plus.

Front Office Agent
(code : FOA 21)
The Role
The Front Office Agent delivers a great guest experience and represents the hotel with initiative, commitment and a meticulous attention to detail throughout all stages of the guest's stay.
Responsibilities:
- Check in and check out guests with friendly manner, following the procedures of the hotel.
- Issue card keys, register the guests
- Answer to guests’ requests and questions by phone or at the desk with smile, kindness and readiness to help.
- Keep track of messages, update guest profiles and booking information and inform guests accordingly.
- Handle all types of payments with caution and issue all kinds of invoices by informing guests accordingly.
- Deal with Cash Register during and at the end of the shift and make sure it is according to Accounts’ and FOM’s directions.
- Communicate with telephone operator, guest relations, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage outlets to receive and give information about guests’ requests, issues and questions.
- Be aware, informed, alert and updated about the services, facilities, amenities Miraggio offers to the guests and external visitors and the costs, procedures and regulations.
- Follow the MEMOs of FOM and make them practice at work.
- Try to upsell and cross sell by adding additional revenue to the hotel’s income.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI)
- 3-5 years minimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitality strongly required
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.

Guest Relations Agent

The Role
A guest relations agent follows humane approach and guest-oriented techniques in order to fulfil guests’ desires, requests and make them feel uniquely during their stay. The agent creates a memorable atmosphere and goes beyond expectations to make guests feel at home and make them visit the hotel again.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the relevant lists (VIP, arrival etc...) of the next day in co-operation with Reception and check what we expect the following day.
- Ensuring guests receive on time the requested services.
- Preparing the welcome and departure letters for the guests.
- Assisting FOM in checking VIP arrival rooms.
- Welcoming arriving guests and rooming them.
- Welcoming groups, inspection visits and external visitors and giving them hotel orientation, guidance and information.
- Upselling, cross selling and generally promoting the hotel product (additional revenue)
- Collecting ideas, comments, complaints from guests by visiting the hotel outlets (summarise them to categories and forward them to GRM, follow up and meet/call guests to make sure they are satisfied).
Requirements

The role: The Bartender/Barista is responsible for preparing and providing beverages to the guests in a quick, efficient, friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome, cater for and deliver friendly personal service to all guests, from arrival to departure, with a professional touch, as set by the Miraggio service standards
- Ensure the provision of timely and accurate service (right order on time)
- Handle guest complaints effectively
- Provide accurate and insightful information to the guest regarding menu items, beverages
- Perform all tasks in a professional manner according to standards
- Make suggestions to improve the overall operation of the outlet
- Always maintain working area clean and neat
- Sales orientated
- Perform the correct storage of goods and beverages under hygienic and appropriate conditions
- Check operational condition of equipment and appliances on a regular basis
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all bar operating equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is highly desirable
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and of at least one PMS software (ie. Protel, Fidelio, etc.) and P.O.S. system
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Barman/Barista in a 5* multicultural hotel environment
- Extensive knowledge in wines, spirits, cocktails, etc. is an absolute must

Restaurant Captain

The role
Restaurant captain is responsible to provide professional and guest focused service to the guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests instantly in warm and friendly ways and thanks them for their attendance upon leaving
- Has full knowledge of the restaurant menu and advises guests if requested
- Placing tables according to events
- Serves dishes and drinks to guests
- Communicates with the kitchen about any questions about the menu
- Communicates with additional meal requirements, allergies, nutritional needs and special requests in the kitchen.
- Check with guests to ensure their satisfaction
- Takes care of clearing, collecting and returning food and beverages in the appropriate area.
- Presents the exact final account to the guest and undertakes the payment
- Shuts down the Point terminal and settles smoothly payments with cash and credit cards.
- Ensures that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both in the front and back of the house.
- Ensure that hotel branding standards and SOPs are consistently applied.
- Cooperates with colleagues and managers to ensure that the restaurant makes full use of its potential.
- Performs monthly inventory
- Takes an active role in the guidance and development of lower staff.
- Performs any other duties related to the food and beverage service assigned to him by the Maitre
Requirements
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly

Ηost / Ηostess

The role: The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact to our restaurants for all guests, through the coordination of all reservations to the dining room by phone or in person. Greets and assists all guests at the restaurant entrance, assists in seating and menu presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and/or acknowledge guests arriving
- Seat patrons by escorting them to assigned table, pulling out chairs and handing guests the menus.
- Present menus, engage in polite conversation, create a personal dining experience, answer questions
- Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of all food and beverage outlets, any promotions/events.
- Learn and be familiar with VIP reports and hotel environment.
- Prepare a seating assignment before each meal period, considering special requests of guests and preferred needs of regular guests. Present this to all restaurant staff in the pre-shift meeting. Advise manager of any VIP’s.
- Walk through the dining room to ensure guests are satisfied; answers questions
- Handle any guest request or complaints within reason or refers to Manager on shift if needed.
- Maintain work area in a professional manner. Ensure that noise levels in all areas are kept to a minimum.
Requirements
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism

The role: Ensure that all guests are served to the hotel’s standard in the Restaurant / Bar / Lounge areas.

- Greets guests and presents them with the menu

- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Filling in for absent staff as needed
- Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
