The Role:

Duties and responsibilities:

The role: 

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact to our restaurants for all guests, through the coordination of all reservations to the dining room by phone or in person. Greets and assists all guests at the restaurant entrance, assists in seating and menu presentation.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Greet and/or acknowledge guests arriving
  • Seat patrons by escorting them to assigned table, pulling out chairs and handing guests the menus.

The role of Childcare Supervisor is to deliver the highest standard of customer service to our guests. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication, organizational and logistical skills, and the ability to be a strong leader and manage and motivate a resort team. Throughout the season you will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the childcare department. You will be responsible for the provision of safe entertainment and activities for children ranging in age from 4 months to 17 years.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the crèche and children’s clubs within the hotel
  • To be responsible for all necessary day to day administration
  • To respond in the first instance to incoming enquiries via the resort in a professional and timely manner
  • To meet with all relevant Heads of Department within the hotel on a regular basis to update them on the Kids Club services and co-ordinate joint activities
  • To liaise directly with parents of the children who will be attending the clubs both prior to their arrival on site and once at the hotel to ensure a smooth transition to the clubs
  • To ensure all on site Health and Safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place, operational and updated as necessary
  • Manage the staff rota, hours and holiday entitlements
  • Control the stocks of art materials and consumable equipment
  • Assist within the clubs when needed

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience of working at a management level
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience of working in a childcare setting
  • Professional qualifications in Childcare/Education, as well as Master’s Degree in a related field will be considered an asset
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language
  • Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
  • Very good knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures. Ability to apply safety rules and adhere to operating and maintenance company standards
  • Excellent guest relations and customer service skills
  • Team player and also a leader, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A good communicator who is adaptable resourceful, patient and diplomatic

The Role:

As a Childcare Assistant you will be experienced with working with large groups of children from 4 years to 17 years, and have a proactive, positive and approachable manner. You will also be assisting in the crèche (4 months – 4 years) when necessary.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the childcare in the resort
  • To assist and occasionally deputise for the Kids/Teen Club Supervisor
  • The safety and welfare of the children within your care and the care of the staff working alongside you
  • To be proactive in suggesting suitable age appropriate, action-packed activities for the children in your care to enjoy
  • To decorate the setting in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their families
  • To attend daily briefings from the WWKC Childcare Supervisors and Manager
  • To liaise directly with parents/ carers of the children who are attending the clubs
  • To step in operationally when needed to cover for breaks, sickness and holidays
  • To be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions
  • To adhere to all company policies and procedures

 

Candidate Profile:

The Role:

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper needs to ensure that exceptional cleanliness standards are met and to assist in maximizing guest-satisfaction levels.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, follow-up on delegated activities, verify rooms cleaned and communicate room status and availability to the Front Office team
  • Run regular and random inspections on guest rooms, public areas, etc. to ensure quality standards are constantly met
  • Be aware of early check-ins and late check-outs and communicate this information to maids
  • Deputise for the Executive Housekeeper in his/her absence on all activities
  • Assist in the preparation of timesheets
  • Assist the Exec. Housekeeper in training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining and motivating employees
  • Ensure personal cleanliness, personal appearance, uniform and other professional standards are met by all team members whilst acting as a role-model for them
  • Report any issues/hazards/discrepancies to the Maintenance Department and follow-up on progress of the required actions

Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality
  • Computer literate
