The role:

The person who follows the ‘tracks’ of the guests, making sure they have unforgettable moments while on holidays.

The person holding this position reports to the Front Office Manager and more specifically is required to:

  • Trains new Guest services department personnel.
  • Answers guests’ inquiries regarding their stay.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the room rack locations types of rooms, room rack operations, package plans, hotel facilities.

DOCK ASSISTANT (Code: DOCKAST_18)

THE ROLE

The Dock Assistant is a hands-on role that actively supports the Marina Manager and the Dockhand in the smooth operation of the 81-berth state-of-the-art marina and its facilities. In specific, the Dock Assistant is required to:

  • Receive mooring ropes and assist in berthing
  • Upon completion of berthing keeps tidiness of the docks
  • Inspect, on a daily basis, dock mooring lines and inform the Marina Manager for any potential risks, and even more frequently under severe weather conditions
  • Inspect dock facilities for damages and tidiness, firefighting, security and surveillance equipment, and report with undue delay any discrepancies to the manager
  • Maintain the tidiness and readiness of the operational equipment both ashore and afloat, and clean it on a regular basis with fresh water
  • Carry out underwater surveillance in order to determine the condition of moorings, cables and chains
  • Assist in the launch – hoist of boats from the ramp
  • Break out, rig, overhaul, and stow handling gear
  • Participate in emergencies according to Contingency Plan

The role:

Flair Bartender works under the direction of service manager and keeps guests entertained while expertly preparing their preferred beverages. He performs regularly at bar shows and have the ability to juggle, throw, and catch bottles, and perform other mixing tricks. Aside from possessing showmanship and knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, and wine Flair Bartender must be able to interact effectively with guests and all levels of employees. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct himself/herself in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner during his/her physical and verbal interactions with guests and fellow shipboard employees at all times

Report to the assigned bar/workstation on time, properly groomed and dressed according to Company standards; and follow his/her supervisor’s instructions according to the Company’s rules and regulations

Assist bartenders in keeping the bar and pantry clean and organized, in preparing and serving drinks, mise-en-place; take orders, prepare drinks behind the bar.

Must be able to juggle, throw, and catch bottles; must be comfortable performing in front of a sizeable audience in varied locations; must be able to consistently prepare drinks in a manner that exudes showmanship and visual excitement

Check and deliver stock requisitions; follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products; ensure that adequate supplies are on hand at all times

Effectively resolve guest complaints and make every effort to ensure that guest leave the bar satisfied

Contribute to F&B goals for increasing sales and boosting revenue

THE ROLE

The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the Housekeeping Department in order to ensure the highest standards of upkeep, hygiene and cleanliness of the Hotel, including all Guest rooms, public area, food & beverage outlets, banquet facilities and back of the house. Closely monitors all processes related to ensuring high level of housekeeping services provided to the guest is timely and defect free.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.
  • Supervise housekeeping operations such as cleaning and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
  • Inspect all areas and take corrective measures in order to meet the Resort standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supply.
  • Develop, implement and continually review the policies, procedures, practices and standards.

THE ROLE:

The Receptionist provides an efficient and courteous service to all guests and aims to maximize the overall guest experience and introduce them to the resort’s experience.

The person holding this position reports to the Front Office Manager and more specifically is required to:

  • Check in and check out guests with friendly manner, following the procedures of the hotel.
  • Issue card keys, register the guests and co-operate with bell boy for luggage delivery.
  • Answer to guests’ requests and questions by phone or at the desk with smile, kindness and readiness to help.
  • Keep track of messages, update guest profiles and booking information and inform guests accordingly.
  • Co-operate with other colleagues, supervisors and HODs to get help, verify information, forward messages and get/provide support.

  • Use the telephone to answer, transfer promptly internal or external calls.
  • Handle wake up calls.
  • Use the hotel communication channels as a centre in case of emergency.
  • Control, check and inform FOS about the equipment of the department (paper, pens etc.).
  • Prepare the work of the next day (e.g. printing R.C., issuing card keys)
  • Check and control guest accounts, credits, and debits and inform FOM in case of glitches or discrepancies.

  • Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Diploma/degree from technical school or private college in tourism, hospitality, business, or other related field will be valued accordingly
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and of at least one PMS software (ideally Protel, Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
  • Excellent communication skills, well-groomed appearance, professionalism, and ability to demonstrate passion and to transmit exquisite service standards to guests
  • Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and a sales-oriented mind-setting
